Bridger cousins came from Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Wyoming, Indiana, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Oklahoma for our annual meeting May 15-16, 2024, in Suffolk, Virginia. The Carringtons were with us again from Slimbridge, England.
On Friday, John Ericson and Todd Balance of Historic St. Luke’s Church & Museum spoke about their trip to Slimbridge to visit Joseph Bridger’s birthplace and church. Later at our Friday night BBQ dinner, Alain Outlaw gave an update about the Whitemarsh archaeology project and the continuing research of the artifacts found.
On Saturday, our cousin, Dr. Doug Owsly of the Smithsonian Institution and his wife Susie were special guests. Doug talked about the mystery of Anne Randall at our annual dinner/meeting and gave us some important facts about her life.
