On September 5-7, 2025, Bridger cousins traveled to Smithfield, Virginia, for the association’s annual meeting and to attend St. Luke’s “Born from Conflict: A 17th Century Living History Event.” The meeting was held in the church on Friday afternoon followed by a catered barbecue dinner at a nearby church’s fellowship hall. On Saturday and Sunday, cousins attended the events at St. Luke’s church, including a talk by Matt Tuttle, the lead archaeologist at the Whitemarsh dig. St. Luke’s surprised us with their new display of artifacts from Whitemarsh at their visitor center.
